Description
This painting is on Yupo paper. It is a synthetic plastic paper that does not absorb the paint. The paint lies on the surface and dries by evaporation so the result is more vibrant colour. This type of paper lends itself to a more loose abstract style of watercolour as you can’t overlay the wash without disturbing the first layer.
